Greetings
of Peace and Prosperity!
On
January 4, 2017, the Barangay Bongdo Community of Borbon, Cebu, is scheduled to
perform a Blessing Ceremony to the Farmers Field school of Action for Skills
Knowledge Education and Wellness Center (ASKEDWELL Center)
This
part of the effort to Develop a Drought Resistant Farming system and through
the Application of Science and Technology.and disaster preparedness program.
Graduates
of the program are initiated into the Climate Smart Natural Farmers Association
and encouraged to continuously implement the program of CWL entitled “House in the Garden”
It is our mission to encourage all households
in the Barangay to plant and grow fish fish in their backyard. The planting
includes, breadfruit, root crops and other drought resistant crops with other
crops that can withstand climate changes.
In
this regard, may we invite you to be with us during the blessing on January 4, 2017,
at 3 PM at Engr. Roseller R. Balaod farm school and learning station at
Barangay Bongdo, Borbon, Cebu.
