BARANGAY BONGDO MARKER

On July 1, 2016, the Barangay Officials of Bongdo, Borbon, Cebu, discuss the development plans together with the officers of Action for Skills Knowledge Education and Wellness Center. The items discussed were the following:

1. Beautification starting at the marker located at the main entrance of the Barangay.

2. There shall be flowering plants and information on the present and past officials of the barangay.

3. On hind sight, the information on the courses of Action for Skills Knowledge Education and Wellness Center shall also be showcased in support to the farm tourism program with the application of science and technology

4. a map of the barangay indicating tourism areas or areas of interest such as an aviary, takyong, monkeys in Saling-it and other developing areas.

5. The barangay training center shall likewise show science and technology in the starbook and flashed in the projector for the students and the community.

6. also discussed is setting -up of pantat fish pond, planting of breadfruit and other drought resistant crops in support to the programs of the Department of Science and Technology Region 7 

DISCUSSION ON DOST 7 GIA - ASKEDWELL CENTER PROJECT WITH BARANGAY BONGDO OFFICIALS

BARANGAY BONDO COUNCIL ISSUED A RESOLUTION INDICATING A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ACTION FOR SKILLS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION AND WELLNESS CENTER TO CO-MANAGE THE OPERATION OF THE BARANGAY BONGDO TRAINING CENTER TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY-BASED ENTERPRISE PROGRAM OF DOST AND PROMOTE FARM TOURISM OF THE BARANGAY., THE DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY PROVIDED FURNITURE, TABLE , CHAIRS AND A SOUND SYSTEM  TO THE CENTER.

AS PLANNED THE BARANGAY BONGDO OFFICIALS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROCESS OF BEAUTIFYING THE MARKER WHICH WILL SHOWCASE THE HORTICULTURE NC II, AQUACULTURE NC II, ANIMAL PRODUCTION NC II DRIVING NC II WITH APPLICATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. THIS WILL ALSO SERVE AS A STRUCTURE TO  GRATITUDE OF THE PEOPLE OF BARANGAY BONGDO OF THE BARANGAY OFFICIALS IN VARIOUS TERMS OF OFFICE.

SOME STUDENTS OF BARANGAY  BONGDO POSE WITH THE OFFICIALS. THE STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ASSIST THE THE BEAUTIFICATION OF BONGDO AS A FARM TOURISM DESTINATION
