APPLICATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY TO NATURAL FARMING SYSTEM


PROJECT TITLE:          EXECUTIVE SEMINAR ON APPLICATION OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN
                                    NATURAL AND ORGANIC FARMING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:              1. ADVOCATE WELLNESS THROUGH HEALTHY FOOD AND EXERCISE
2. PRESENT AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM OF AGRICULTURE WHERE THE WASTE OF ONE IS AN INPUT TO THE OTHER
                                3. PREPARE CONCOCTIONS FOR ALTERNATIVE SOURCE OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS
                                4. PARTICIPANTS DISCUSS AND PERFORM AN INTEGRATED MODEL OF FARMING

EXPECTED BENEFITS TO THE PARTICIPANTS
1.        Draw a basic integrated farm plan containing a fish pond, animal cage and  bird cage
2.        Set-up a miniature model farm with accessories
3.        Explain the steps on how an integrated farm functions
4.        Use S&T in an integrated farm to reduce labor in a farm
5.        Install a time delay system for water distribution
6.        Explain the feed formulation and substitution for animal feeds
7.  IN VIEW OF THE POLICY TO ASSIST  THOSE INTERESTED IN NATURAL FARMING, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TREATED AS ADVOCATES, HENCE, IT IS THE OBLIGATION OF THE ORGANIZER TO SUPPORT THEIR ACTIVITIES WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE COMPLETION OF THE SEMINAR.

                             8.  FOLLOW-UP TO PARTICIPANTS WILL BE CONDUCTED TO ENSURE THAT KNOWLEDGE ON THE NATURAL                                               FARMING SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGIES WILL BE FULLY UNDERSTOOD AND APPLIED. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE                                    PROVIDED WITH DIRECT INFORMATION THROUGH CELL PHONES, EMAILS AND VISITS TO FARMS WHENEVER                                      NECESSARY
